Maintaining and protecting your immune system through the years will be helpful in warding off unwanted infections and diseases.
Your immune system is your engine and it must be taken care of daily to ensure it will run effectively and efficiently.
Please take note when viruses and bacteria are at its peak remember good hand washing , avoid touching your face and avoiding large crowds.
Taking care of your body such as a good nights sleep and rest, eating a healthy well balanced diet and getting plenty of exercise will help and boost your immune system.

There are many natural habits you can do right now with opening your pocket book to boost the immune system.
With illness and infections at a peak this time of year I am going to discuss some habits you can incorporate today to give you that boost; think of it as extra credit!
These habits discuss are important to practice daily and throughout the year.

Probiotics
Seventy five percent of our immune system is within our gut. Harmful bacteria growing in your stomach can cause many problems such as chronic illness and unexplained health issues.
Good bacteria; probiotics can ward off many health infections and respiratory infections.
Probiotics are something you should add into your daily lifestyle.
Finding a good probiotic with great bacteria and cultures strains will promote a healthy digestion, supports gut health, and helps maintain normal intestinal function for overall support of a healthy immune system.

Elderberry Syrup
This is the antiviral herb has a powerful packed and helps boost the immune system and has been used for generations.

I give my kids a tablespoon in the back of the throat before bed to tame a cough and through out the day I add the a teaspoon of honey and one teaspoon of fresh squeeze lemon to warm water or tea and drink at least 2 times a day.

On your shelves during heighten cold and flu season have essential oil bottles on hand such as Oregano, Eucalyptus, Orange, Clove and Cinnamon which will help when you are boosting or reliving illnesses.
Each oil has its own medicinal and beneficial properties. A pharmacy of essential oils can contain antibacterial and antifungal. Keeping essential oil bottles stocked in your home will be helpful to boost the immune system.
Immune Boosting Roller Bottle Recipe

- 8 drops of Oregano Essential Oil
- 7 drops of Eucalyptus Essential Oil
- 5 drops Orange Essential Oil
- 3 drops of Clove Essential Oil
- 2 drops of Cinnamon Essential Oil
- Carrier oil of your choice ( I used Almond Oil )
- Roller Bottle ( roller bottles can be purchase on Amazon )
- Label
First, remover the cap off the roller bottle.
Next, add Oregano, Eucalyptus, Orange, Clove and Cinnamon Essential Oil to the roller bottle.
Now add your desire carrier oil to the roller bottle. Be mindful to let 1/8 inch from the top. Place cap on roller bottle and label.
Label and give your roller bottle a good shake before you use to depress the oils. Apply the roller bottle to your temples, back of neck, middle of chest and bottoms of feet to help relieve and prevent virus and bacteria infections.
