Ingredients
- 4-5 Apples; Cored, Peeled and Sliced
- 1/2 cup of old-fashion oats
- 1/4 cup of all purpose Flour
- 1/4 cup of brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 2/3 teaspoon of sea salt
- 5 tablespoons of grass feed Butter; softened
- 1 tablespoon of softened butter to grease baking dish
- Vanilla Ice Cream or whip cream
Steps to Making the Best Apple Crisp Recipe
1.) In a square baking dish; grease entire dish with butter.
2.) Next, in a bowl add your cored and peeled apples and coat with brown sugar.
Let’s prepare the strudel by adding the oats, all purpose flour, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and sea salt in another bowl, stir to combine.
3.) Now take the grass feed butter and cut into the oat mixture. I use a fork to cut in butter! Add apples to the oat mixture and give a good mix.
4.) Scoop the apple mixture into the baking dish. Bake the crisp at 350 degrees for 45 minutes until apples are tender and the top of the apple crisp is golden brown.
5.) Finally, remove from oven and Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whip cream.
