Welcome to Riggs Creek Farmhouse,
I am Jennifer!
Here at the Farmhouse, I love inspiring others to create a simpler, healthier lifestyle while on a budget along the banks of Riggs Creek in my Farmhouse.

I am glad you are here to experience simple and achievable farmhouse living.
Hello, my name is Jennifer. I am passionate about creating a farmhouse on a budget while embracing natural and whole living. Several Years ago, my husband and I bought our dream home in Southeast Michigan. Daily we have been learning and growing, raising my two children in our small farmhouse.
I enjoy designing a life for my family that is homemade and homegrown at our farmhouse.

History of Riggs Creek Farmhouse
“Riggs Creek Farmhouse” is a name I choose for many reasons. I am excited about everything that is homemade and homegrown here at the farm.
We live on an acre of land in the middle of nowhere in southeast Michigan.
I grew up in a home where my dad suffers multiple heart attacks and as a result, I began my journey of health and wellness.
I have eight siblings as a result money was tight but, we learned to lived simply. Create and embrace the moment in front of you. After watching several of my family members suffer heart disease and cancer including my own son, plus balance my own chronic fatigue and arthritis I said, “There has to be a better way, a better life!”
I decided I need to take control over the situation and after much research I discover what we are exposing our bodies to is crucial in maintaining a happier, balanced life.
I teach others on simple, healthier living without breaking the bank. A life you desire can be achieved by creating a lifestyle.
I want everyone who visits the farm to feel confident in their decisions and learn to achieve a life they always desired.

Benefit of Visiting the Farm
I want every person to feel supported to live life to their full potential. I want to help in any way I can. Here at the Farmhouse, I am honest and real and believe the life you want is achievable. If you set your mind to it life has much to offer. Come along on this journey and I promise it will be a start to creating homespun, homestead on the banks of Riggs Creek.

I learned how to sew and make food from scratch at nine. I enjoyed “Anne of Green Gables, Little House on the Prairie, Little Woman and did I mention I am obsessed with history of eastern Europe during the fifteen hundreds and the American of the eighteen hundreds.
My husband often makes fun of me because he claims, I should have been born in the 1800’s.”
My son is a cancer survivor, and he had a compromised immune system resulting in us staying home.
During, my son’s journey fighting cancer we learned a lot about simple living on the farmhouse. We learn to cook from scratch. Homegrown fruits and vegetables are ideal. Creating an inviting home brings joy and peace.
