Homemade Natural Cleaners that Work Video
With the New Year that means time to prepare our homes for natural living. Creating a cozy home and clutter free environment is important but, using homemade natural cleaners that work out weighs the importance this year.
Did you know, may of the conventional cleaners on the market do not have to disclose every ingredient in their product? Many ingredients in cleaners over the counter are toxic to human and the environment which can disrupt the hormones and trigger allergy’s.
Gathering natural cleaners and tools that are effective will help to accomplish the goal of creating a home that is clutter and toxic free.
First, decide which room to begin and gather all your supplies. Gather dusters, cleaners, mop, bucket and vacuum cleaner.
Next in any space start at the top such as ceiling, shelves and light fixtures. Gravity will take over and move everything down that was not caught in a cloth.
I like to move clockwise in a space; if I have to stop, I know exactly where I left off and will not repeat the process.
Remember to do easy task in order for example, sweep before mopping and if you are a procrastinator like me do the easy task first because it will help in gaining motivation.
Homemade Natural Cleaners that Work verse Chemical Cleaners
I cannot stress enough the importance of maintaining a toxic free home. Growing up in a world with toxic cleaning products scent with great smell is not tempting it is something we need to reteach ourselves.
The smells in conventional cleaning products have so many issues with the health of our homes. We need to breathe cleaning products that have aromatherapy benefits and not the opposite effect. Just because something smells stronger does not mean it is better this mean it is heavy in chemicals and fragrance.
The harsh, chemical cleaners can cause hormone disruption, migraines and breathing issue. Natural smells in homemade natural cleaning products can produce calmness, clarity and alertness.
It is essential we clean our homes with non-toxic ingredients and did I mention affordable. A lot of the ingredients in cleaning products that you use in your kitchen such as dish soap, stove cleaner and dishwasher detergent have harsh chemical and companies are not required to list all the ingredients.
If you are using or buying cleaning products it is important that it does not harm, you or your family. Many cleaning products being sold have tons of chemicals that can harm humans, animals, and of course the environment we live in. For Example, sodium lauryl sulfate which is a chemical that makes suds and bubbles can burn the skin, mouth and eyes. A chemical such as sodium lauryl sulfate, bleach, fragrances, etc. I do not want in contact with my body or my families.
Cleaning with vinegar often has better result in killing germs that bleach.

White Distilled Vinegar is an ingredient I love cleaning for its antibacterial effects and it is a money saver. Vinegar is all natural and safe for my whole family. White Vinegar can clean just about everything from soap scum, surfaces, drains and a coffee maker. Vinegar inhibits the growth of mold, mildew and most bacteria.
Water is an important component is maintaining a natural home for its purity. Use filtered water if you have hard water that could stain.
Essential Oils are amazing for the benefits and the aromatherapy. Extracted from plants, trees and flowers; oils are antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral.
