I love baking bread and have been doing for years. There is something satisfying when a warm bread comes out of an oven at dinnertime.
Ingredients
- 1 cup of warm raw milk
- 4 tablespoons of softened raw grass fed, unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon of sea salt
- 1 tablespoon of raw, unfiltered honey
- 2 1/2 teaspoons of active dry yeast
- 1/3 cup of warm filtered water
- 3 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour; unbleached
- 1 farm fresh egg, lighted beaten
- Olive Oil
First, set your Bread Machine to the dough setting inside add the milk, butter, salt and honey. Next add your warm water and yeast. Start your bread machine and you will see the ingredients began to mix. Slowly add your flour half cup at a time to the bead machine. Add your egg and close the lid of your Bread Machine. Let the Bread Machine do it magic of creating the dough, this should take about an hour and half. Check with your Breadmaker on the length of time it takes to make the dough.
Take a loaf pan and oil it with olive oil. Remove dough from the Bread Machine and shape into a loaf. Press the dough to a rectangle and then fold including the sides. Place your dough in loaf pan and cover with plastic and let rise again for at least an hour or until it reaches the top of the pan.
