Essential Oil Bathroom Cleaner

Daily Maintenance and weekly cleaning is important to prevent build up of soap scum, bacteria and mold.
Cleaning with warm water, and this essential oil bathroom spray will not only disinfect but, make everything smell fantastic.
I live in a an area with a low water table and high humidity; with this being said mold and mildew is always a battle in areas of my home where there is water.
After many failed attempts to get a hold of the mold and mildew I had failed terribly because the only thing I found to work was bleach.
I wanted a natural option without harsh smells and chemicals. Finally, after many weeks all I needed was some great essential oils and water.
Ingredients
- 1 cups water
- One cup of distilled white vinegar
- 35 drops tea tree essential oil
- 15 drops peppermint essential oil
- Glass Spray Bottle

In a spray bottle; add all the ingredients including tea tree and peppermint essential oil. Screw in the spray nozzle and give a good shake. Spray evenly on shower walls, bathtub, vanity, toilet and clean with a cloth, small scrub brush and/or old toothbrush. Rinse with clean water and wipe dry. Use this essential oil bathroom spray after each shower to prevent any mold or mildew!

This homemade essential oil bathroom cleaner smell great and fantastic in preventing mold and mildew.
Finally, I use about 1/2 cup of this bathroom cleaner in a bucket of warm water to mop up the tile floors.
Tea Tree Essential Oil Toilet Bowl Cleaner
The main concern of cleaning the bathroom is because it is place where we spend a lot of time grooming oneself. Toilets in the bathroom are a breeding ground for anything that is bacteria and viruses.

I love-making homemade, natural, DIY cleaners and this one is great for cleaning your toilets because it does not pollute the air and they kill germs. All you need is three ingredients and this recipe is super, duper easy!
Ingredients
- toilet brush
- 1/2 cup baking soda
- 10-12 drops of tea-tree essential oil
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
In a bowl combine baking soda, tea tree essential oils and vinegar; mix well. If you are making to this toilet bowl cleaner in advance do not add vinegar. Next, pour cleaner into your toilet , let sit for five minutes. Take brush and scrub, flush and repeat if necessary.

Wipe the outside of the toilet with the essential oil bathroom cleaner using a damp cloth. Note, do not use the same cloth that you on the toilet on the rest of the bathroom. Baking Soda will deodorize and a great scrubbing agent that won’t scratch a surface.
HOW TO MAKE LEMON ESSENTIAL OIL GLASS CLEANER
I This Lemon Essential Oil Glass Cleaner can be used on mirrors, windows and even car windshields.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Large bowl for mixing, or add to spray bottle
- Amber Glass Bottle (6-12 ounces and has a spray nozzle)
- 2-3 cups of water (depending on size of spray bottle)
- 1 tablespoons of rubbing alcohol
- ¼ cups of white distilled vinegar
- 10 drops of lemon essential oil
- Funnel
First, add all the above ingredients to a mixing bowl, mix well with a spoon. Second, Pour all mixed ingredients through a funnel into your spray bottle.
Next, screw on the nozzle and shake the ingredients in the bottle until blended.
Use on mirrors, windows and car windshields.
Essential Oils Bathroom Deodorizer
Finally, the final thing you should do in your bathroom is try this trick. To deodorizer the Bathroom take your toilet paper roll and inside of the roll on the cardboard add three drops of your favorite smelling Essential Oil. The Aromas will fragrant the bathroom. You will have to to add the drops of essential oil every time you change the toilet paper roll!
